My boyfriend's parents are very sweet. They picked me up my first ever pair of TOMS while in the States last week!
They are very comfortable and when you purchase a pair, the company donates a pair to a child in need. Really, you get to feel good on two levels!
Basic black is perfect for my fist pair - I'm looking at something a bit more flashy for a potential second pair, I'll keep you posted.
