It's no big secret that I absolutely adore Lucite, I also equally love mixing old and new, so this gorgeous little landing made my heart skip a beat, or two. And why shouldn't it? An open staircase, warm wooden floors, buckets of natural light from a ceiling skimming wall of windows... the bones of this space are so lovely it would be pretty difficult to mess up. Finished off with a hanging Lucite chair and furry white rug, it's not overdone or too sparse - simply perfection.
